Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for Senior QA Engineer for full-time position (40 hours per week) in Kyiv.
Our customer is a pioneer in microarray technology and a leader in genomics analysis, now provides innovative technologies that further multiplex and simultaneous analysis of biological systems at the cell, protein, and gene level.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for testing software applications;
Develop Test Plans and Test Cases based on Product Requirements and Design Specifications;
Configure test environments to meet testing and development requirements including multiple systems and large amounts of data;
Perform testing: component, functional, system, workflow, Internationalization, compatibility, performance, stress, security, installation, command lineIdentify and log defects and work with development to resolve defects;
Execute formal verification for final release;
Document test results in a summary report.
Requirements:
BS / MS degree in Computer Science or related experience;
Minimum of 4 years professional experience in Software testing;
Experience in Black box and White box testing of Windows desktop applications;
Experience testing multiple OS command line applications: Window, Unix, Linux, Mac OS;
2 to 3 years of writing Python test scripts;
Strong analytical, problem solving and trouble shooting skills;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Ability to work both independently and collectively in a team environment.
