We at LikeIT - a Latvian IT recruitment agency - are specialising in finding and recruiting IT professionals.

Currently one of our clients - one of the biggest Scandinavian insurance companies with an IT department in Latvia - is looking for a test automation architect to build and maintain the automation framework for a full Scandinavian insurance system. The offer includes relocation to Riga, Latvia.

Requirements:
Work experience in

  • .Net C#/ ASP.NET
  • Front End technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and others
  • Visual Studio 2012 or later
  • WCF
  • BDD (Behavior Driven Development)
    Strong English (verbal and written) communication
    Teamwork mind-set orientation

Responsibilities:

  • Set long term goals and short term action plans towards development and improvement of test automation framework
  • Investigate, maintain, build and improve existing test automation framework
  • Improvements in architecture of the framework
  • Regular refactoring of needed areas
  • Communicate with all involved project parties, share the vision and substantiate the needed direction and planned actions
  • Work closely with project management, product owners, software developers, software testers so that proper test automation mindset is followed in all parts of software development lifecycle
  • Assist in writing test scripts if needed
  • Constantly have control over test coverage
  • Identify and manage risks related with test automation domain
