ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and build comprehensive 3D Automation framework from scratch based on application architecture
• Automation infrastructure maintenance and recommendations for improvements
• Extensive codding, integration and debugging of automating scripts
• Solving technical and infrastructural problems for automation framework. Enhancing automation test coverage
• Scripts execution and test result analysis with preparation of test execution reports
• Analyzing requirements, writing test cases, and developing test plan
• Extensive communication with software developers and internal customers
• Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities
• Cooperation with customer to obtain data subject to testing
• Participate in project meetings, including meetings with off-shore team
• Participation in training for new hires
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Solid understanding of one OOP language, C++ preferred
• Working knowledge of at least one scripting languages, Python, JavaScript preferred
• Hands on experience with API level testing and building automation testing framework based on application architecture
• Ability to understand and quickly move through other people’s code
• Ability to understand the Platform System Architecture
• Moderate geometric intuition to support basic geometrical test (3D) in scripts
• Strong working knowledge of modern software development tools including bug tracking systems and source code revision control
• Results-driven, logical and methodical approach to achieving tasks and team goals
• Good written technical and spoken English
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• MS or BS, in Math, Computer Science or Physics preferred. MS or BS in other engineering scientific disciplines considered
• At least 3 years experience in product development or automated testing strongly preferred
• 3D development, CAD experience and similar preferred
