Skills
Expert in Linux\Unix system programming. Deep understanding of configuration management tools and UNIX principles.
A minimum of 4 years of coding and designing experience, preferably in C/C++/Node.JS. Much more experience would be great. We’re looking for someone with proven experience in developing and maintaining clean, re-usable code for storage/networking products.
Experience in Agile development-test cycles.
Strong technical background in storage, networking, virtualization, scaleable systems, and security fundamentals. Understanding of low level networking and storage protocols, such as Ethernet, IP/Multicast, IPv6, iSCSI, NFSv3, NFSv4, Amazon S3.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Previous hands-on experience with OpenStack — Advantage.
Configuration management tools like Chef and Puppet — Advantage.
