What you will be doing:
Taking over existing behavior driven test automation framework (Behave+Selenium+Python) for our online hotel booking platform, you’ll be leading automation team in the effort to provide complete regression coverage for the product (both UI tests and API tests) in each sprint as well as support continuous integration for our agile development team. You’ll be extending and improving the existing framework, writing new and maintaining existing tests, reviewing code written by others and promoting automation within the organization. Working out strategies to expedite testing cycles and improve overall testing quality.
Note: This is a very hands-on role that requires both technical and leadership skills.
You certainly:
Strong proficiency in programming (Python or any interpreted language)
Experience working with BDD and Selenium frameworks
Extensive experience in automation (both API and UI level) and strong testing skills (both automation and manual)
Hands-on experience with Linux
Eager to take ownership and drive forward innovation
Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and ability to work with limited supervision
You probably:
Have dealt with various automation frameworks and automation approaches.
Have good written and some communication skills in English
Have experience working in QA team
Have continuous Integration experience with Jenkins
Have experience with code management tools (e.g. github, etc.) experience building distributed systems.
Have some knowledge (or are eager to learn) in AWS deployment (e.g. ansible).
