Our client in the e-learning industry, who we are recruiting for exclusively, is currently recruiting for a Snr QA Engineer/Team Lead with strong automation skills for their Dublin office.

Do you have strong experience working in a software testing environment and excellent knowledge of automated testing using HP Quick Test Pro? If so this might be the right position for you

This role involves:

• Designing, implementing and maintaining automation tests for the QA team using HP Quick Test Pro.
• Developing QA test specifications.
• Manual testing of new products, recording and following up on any bugs noted.
• Liaising with other departments in the investigation of serious issues.
• Maintenance of the internal Bug Database.
• Maintenance and technical support for QA product sites, databases, servers and workstations.
• Releasing signed-off products/updates/patches to the IT Services team.
• Contributing to the improvement of QA processes.
• Assisting the Technical Support team in the investigation of client issues.
• Analysing bug trends and providing feedback to the Development team.

Essential requirements:

• Computer Science degree
• Proven track record of automated testing using HP Quick Test Pro.
• A good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Database Server and Microsoft IIS Web Server
• Excellent communication skills, along with fluent English.
• A good eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work to strict deadlines.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to manage relationships with internal and external customers.
