Senior Test Engineer / QA Lead Tester with strong QTP (QTP 9.5 or 10) skills sought by award winning supplier of cutting edge data migration technology. As Senior Test Engineer / QA Lead you will be responsible for all functional and non-functional testing. This is a hands-on position where you will establish, grow and lead an efficient QA function. You will devise and implement QA best practice processes and procedures, write and execute both manual and automated functional tests building on an existing QTP framework. This role presents a diverse and challenging opportunity for a Senior Tester to take a lead / management role.

Requirements:

• Extensive testing experience with test automation using QTP 9.5 or 10
• VBScript or similar 
• Team leadership experience
• Experienced with testing multi-tiered Java J2EE enterprise software
• Knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL (large data sets)
• Knowledge and use of Virtual test environments (VMWare/Lab Manager artefacts)
• Knowledge of Unix (Solaris / Linux), Windows Server operating systems
• Excellent communication skills 
• Analytical mindset with expert attention to detail
