EPAM Systems (www.epam.com), one of the largest Software Engineering Services Companies in European IT market, CMMI Level 4 certified, is looking for Senior Software Test Engineer for its Kiev Office.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of testing experience and 2 years of front and backend applications testing experience
• Experience testing Web and Database applications and working knowledge of Unix/Linux, SQL
• Knowledge of Web Server, HTTP protocol, XML, Basic Networking and JavaScript
• Experience with white and black box testing
• Experience with any defect tracking tool
• Experience in test automation with any test automation tool
• Scripting languages (ruby, Perl, Linux/Unix shell scripting, etc)
• Familiarity with various testing methodologies, strategies and SDLC
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as alone, work with deadlines
• Proactive and agile
• Good English, both spoken and written

Optional, but desirable experience with:

• Version Control System: Subversion or CVS
• Experience testing J2EE applications
• Knowledge of Ruby, Watir, Firewatir and Loadrunner

Responsibilities:

• Write and execute test cases, test scenarios and test plans for projects
• Perform functional, regression, load, performance and all testing associated with projects
• Write automated functional test scripts and load scripts
