EPAM Systems (www.epam.com), one of the largest Software Engineering Services Companies in European IT market, CMMI Level 4 certified, is looking for a Test Analyst to work in work for one of major investment bank Barclay's Capital (www.barcap.com). Relocation from other locations is possible.

Responsibilities: 

• Identifying test conditions from project documentation and developing test cases which provide full coverage.
• Execute tests documenting their results and defects encountered.
• Create and maintain Application Regression suites.
• Automate Functional & Non Functional tests.
• Work closely with developers to understand new developments and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
• Deploy system components / Release into Test environments in preparation for formal testing

Experience Required:

• Experience of HP Test Tools covering Quality Center & (or similar). 
• Load Runner/ Performance Center an advantage.
• Test & Dev Environment management experience including Configuration and Deployment
• Test automation experience ideally of batch engines.
• Understanding of SQL (prefer MS SQL Server 2005).
• Knowledge of VBA or Vb script.
• Knowledge of Python or similar scripting language.
• Theoretical & practical understanding of the SDLC.

• Scope Negotiation & Control
• Hold Test reviews on Test Documentation
• Defect Management
• Reporting progress to senior management using metrics from the Test Planning tools

Key Skills

• Knowledge of Quality Centre and QTP
• Experience in testing financial Systems using industry tools Quality Centre and Quick Test Pro (QTP) including creation of test cases based on requirements and functional specifications
• Ability to create project based Test Plans and Release Strategy documents
• Strong QA and Testing Industry Knowledge
• Test Automation using QTP
• The ability to work to agreed deadlines
• Practical application of software product development standards and methodologies: waterfall and iterative (e.g. Agile, Scrum, RUP, etc.).
• Practical application of testing standards and methodologies
• Strong knowledge of software life-cycles and software process management and improvement techniques (e.g. SEI CMMI or PMI PMBOK or SIX SIGMA)
• Strong organizational and problem solving abilities
